Privacy Policy

Effective August 2026 · Syntrava Inc.

Syntrava Inc. (“Syntrava”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways.

  • Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, work email address, phone number (if provided), company name, job title, company size, industry, and whatever you write in the challenge and message fields.
  • Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how visitors arrived. IP addresses are anonymised. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
  • Advertising measurement. This site uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). When you visit, it tells Meta that a browser visited a page on syntrava.ca, along with your IP address, device and browser type, and referring page. We use this for one purpose: so that our advertising can be shown to people who have already visited this site, rather than to people at random. We have deliberately switched off Meta’s optional “advanced matching” feature, which would otherwise read what you type into forms on this site and send it to Meta. Nothing you enter in the contact form is sent to Meta. Meta is an independent company that also uses the data it receives for its own purposes, as described in its own privacy policy, and it may store and process that data outside Canada.

Why we collect it

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a discovery call
  • To understand your business well enough to give a useful reply
  • To keep a record of our correspondence with you
  • To protect the site from spam and abuse
  • To understand which parts of the site are useful and improve them

We do not sell your information. We do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in the contact form, and we do not share the details you send us with third parties for their own marketing. The one exception to note is the advertising measurement described above: Meta receives the fact that a browser visited this site, though never what you type into the contact form.

Who we share it with

We use third-party service providers to operate the site and manage enquiries, for example our website host, our email provider, and our customer relationship management system. These providers process information on our behalf and are only permitted to use it to provide their service to us. Some of them may store data outside Canada, which means it may be subject to the laws of the country where it is stored.

We will also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as they are useful to the business relationship, and then delete them. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to retain it.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets cookies to measure site usage. The Meta Pixel sets cookies that allow Meta to recognise a returning browser, which is what makes advertising to previous visitors possible. You can block all of these through your browser settings, private browsing, or a content blocker, and the site will work exactly the same way.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. To make any of these requests, email hello@syntrava.ca.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted securely. We limit access to enquiry data to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the effective date above.
